OMAR VS MARK DE CLIVE-LOWE & BLACK MILK SYDNEY SHOW

The Oxford Art Factory and RULIAL are excited to announce that OMAR (UK), MARK DE CLIVE-LOWE (NZ) and BLACK MILK (USA) are headed our way in early 2018 for a massive live show. A weave of international flavours, spanning from Kent to Auckland and Detroit, this masterclass in jazz, neo-soul and hip hop is the ultimate music mix up, unlikely to be repeated.

Headlining the night will be powerhouse duo – OMAR and MARK DE CLIVE-LOWE who have been collaborators for over a decade. Fronted by the British born Omar Lye-Fook (dubbed by Stevie Wonder as a true “soul man”) who will lay down his instantly recognisable vocals alongside the drum machine beats, live sampling and keys Mark de Clive-Lowe, the latter being one of the foremost leaders of the beat movement. Together adapting the core sounds to suit all moods and bringing smooth neo-soul and jazz ideals to the dancefloor.

Joining the night is Detroit rapper and record producer BLACK MILK. Born Curtis Eugene Cross, Black Milk makes a triumphant return to Australia following a massive tour in late 2016 and will be performing brand new material from his upcoming album coming out on Nas’s Mass Appeal Records. Having collaborated with the likes of Robert Glasper, Jack White, Danny Brown and Earl Sweatshirt, he is known for his top-flight production and stand out live shows making this one of the shows of the summer for 2018.

Rounding out the bill will be Sydney Hip Hop royalty DJ Mike Who and upcoming producer Setwun.
